Sam & Warren - Shaughnessy Restaurant Wedding

It’s always a treat whenever I get the chance to photograph a wedding at Shaughnessy Restaurant at VanDusen Garden. It doesn’t take much to make this place look awesome. Even if you don’t plan to do a lot for your decor, you’re pretty much guaranteed a stunning wedding surrounded by greenery and natural elements. Throw in some gorgeous florals like those by Thomas Hobbs and you’ve got one of my favourite venues in Vancouver. The indoor space gets some fantastic light at sunset - position your sweetheart table right by the window to get the best backlight at golden hour. On top of that, the patio area is a great spot for your natural light ceremony, which also has the benefit of being covered (perfect for rainy Vancouver)!
